C3: Other Institutions Having School-to-School or University-Wide Student Exchange Agreement

Host Institutions :
(C3-a): Institutions having School-to-School student exchange agreement with the Engineering Schools, except for the host institutions listed in categories (C1) and (C2).
(C3-b): Institutions having University-Wide student exchange agreement with Tokyo Tech, except for these listed in categories (C1) and (C2).
Notes:
- The applicants need to write their prospective research group or department on the application form.
- The applicants must start negotiating with the host institution faculty and obtain an acceptance notice prior to submitting the application.
- In principle, the applicants who apply to category (C3-b) need to apply for a relevant university-wide student exchange program of the International Affairs Department, International Student Exchange Division at Tokyo Tech and must be accepted before applying for this program. The applicants who could not apply for the relevant university-wide program or be accepted, must consult with the International Cooperation Office coordinator to receive further notice and attach a written statement of reasons (free format) to justify the application for this program.

C4: Exchange with Other Institutions Which the Engineering Schools May Deem Necessary or Appropriate

Host Institutions:
Institutions to which the Engineering Schools may deem it necessary or appropriate to dispatch its students, except for the host institutions listed in categories (C1), (C2), and (C3).
Notes:
- The applicants need to write their prospective research group or department on the application form and attach a written statement of reasons (free format) to explain the need for visiting the institution. A written statement of reasons (free format) issued by their Department Chair or Academic Supervisor must also be attached to the application form.
- The applicants are encouraged to start negotiating with the host institution faculty and obtain an acceptance notice prior to application.

C5: Temporary Student Exchange Program by the Engineering Schools

Temporal (limited term) exchange programs in which the Engineering Schools participate or coordinate, such as externally funded programs, are published in the schools’ or university news when they are available.
